Last month I had the pleasure of working with some gorgeous repeat clients! Last time I saw the LaPolla family, they were a family of five and getting family portraits done. Clearly, we had some catching up to do since this year, they became a family of SIX!! For anyone who doesn't know me well, two of my favorite things to photograph are families with young children and big families--so I was basically in my own little photographer heaven working with this wonderful family AGAIN!
Barbara & Joe are just stunning and of course all their babies are no different! I love watching "my" families grow and seeing the once babies become big brothers and sisters. I know firsthand that since we see our own kids so often, nearly constantly, it is easy to kind of skim over how much they really change! Then all the sudden you look back on photos and start crying because when did they lose the baby cheeks and thigh rolls?! It is so bittersweet. I love being able to give families these little details so you can remember them FOREVER.
I mean just look at them-- so classic and gorgeous! It is no wonder why my Style Guide is filled with their images!
Such proud big siblings! They truly love their new little brother so much--no prompts were needed! I just had to hand the baby over and they gave him all the cuddles and kisses.
I know I cannot be the only person who melts over little baby rolls! He is such a handsome little guy! I am so honored to be able to do this work. My heart seriously overflows with joy every time I get to see my clients! Thank you so much again, LaPolla Family! It is always such a treat to work with your family.
