My newborn baby boy streak continues!!! Austin is the cutest little thing! Usually, once babies are swaddled in my wraps they fall into a deep snooze for the remainder of the session. Austin was contently awake and alert for many of the family photos--just look at his little face!! All the heart eye emojis!
Of course, eventually the sleepiness took over and we got all those perfect newborn cuddly photos! Both big siblings did such a good job! Their Mama, Tara, loved the Newborn Session Mini Guide and I LOVE what they chose to wear! I always encourage parents to include any sentimental props-- Austin's great-grandpa sent each kiddo one of these bears when they were born. I love that Tara thought to include the bear! So sweet!! I am sure Great-Grandpa was smitten by the photo as well.
Newborns are really so sweet and fun to work with. Each has their own little personality and I love freezing that in photos for families to remember forever. Looking at my own babies' newborn photos is one thing that always brings me joy. Jesse teases me when I edit newborn sessions because I am smiling at my computer screen the entire time--how could anyone not smile that this little face?! The newborn stretches just melt me. I do not think it is possible to watch one of those full-body stretches and not say '"ohhh, big stretch!!" I think I have dozens of videos of my babies' stretching in the morning when I would take their swaddles off. It is just too darn cute!!
